Who we are

Story Factory (stories.bytassh.com) is made and run by Studio Merlin as part of Creations by Tassh. "We" and "us" mean STUDIO MERLIN, s.p.

Terms of use

1. Agreement

Q&A Story Factory is a web tool that turns questions, answers and photos into story images. By using it you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use it.

2. Provided "as is"

The tool and every image it makes are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a purpose, availability or freedom from errors. You use it entirely at your own risk. We may change, limit or stop the tool at any time without notice or liability.

3. Your content and your responsibility

• You alone are responsible for every question, answer, photo, profile picture and text you add, and for every image you download, post or share.
• You may only use photos and text you own or have the right to use. You must not upload anything unlawful, hateful, infringing or harmful.
• If you publish stories made with the tool, you alone are responsible for them being truthful and lawful, including advertising, consumer protection and platform rules. Do not present invented questions, testimonials, reviews or results as real customer feedback where the law or the platform forbids it.
• Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms. This tool is not made, approved or connected with Meta or Instagram. The fonts and stickers are look-alikes made from free fonts.
• Your content is stored only in your own browser. We do not back it up and are not responsible for any loss of it, for any reason. Keep your own copies.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. and its owner are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damage, or any loss of data, work, time, profit, income, followers, accounts or reputation, arising from the tool, its errors or unavailability, or anything you do with it or its images, including any action a platform takes against your account.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the tool in the 12 months before the claim. The tool is free, so this amount is zero euro.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that by law can never be excluded, such as liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for harm to life or health caused by our fault, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

5. You protect us

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. and its owner from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) made by anyone and arising from your content, the images you publish, your use or misuse of the tool, or your breach of these terms, the law or anyone's rights.

6. Payments and no refunds

The tool is currently free. If we ever offer paid features or digital products, they are digital content delivered immediately. By buying you expressly ask for immediate delivery and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery starts (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act, ZVPot-1). All sales are final and not refunded, except where the law requires it.

7. Fair use

Do not try to hack, overload, copy, resell or republish the tool. We may block anyone who misuses it.

8. Ownership

The name, design and code of the tool belong to Studio Merlin. The images you make are yours to use, as long as you have the rights to the photos and text in them.

9. Law and the rest

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes are decided by the competent court in Novo mesto, Slovenia, unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise. If any part is invalid, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms at any time; the date above shows the latest version.

Privacy

The short version

No account, no cookies, no tracking, no ads, no analytics. Your questions, answers and photos never leave your device.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. (details above). Questions: tassh@studio-merlin.com.

2. What stays on your device

Your questions, answers, settings, background photos and profile photo are saved only in your browser's storage on your own device. All images are made inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to us. Delete everything any time with "Clear all" and "Remove all" or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

3. Server logs

When your browser loads the tool, our server receives technical data (IP address, time, files requested, browser type). We use it only to deliver the tool and keep it secure, and keep it for a short time. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server is hosted by Hostinger in the European Union.

4. No third parties

Fonts and code are served from our own server. The small "Creations by Tassh" badge only links to bytassh.com and does not track you.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, correct and delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and ask for portability. You may complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

6. Age

The tool is meant for people aged 15 or older.
